Fellowship Potluck

Council will have their regular monthly meeting tomorrow (Monday, April
14th) at Women’s
Bible Studies
is being held at Ruby Johnson’s home from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. using A.W. Tozer’s book “The
Pursuit of God” along with a study guide. This study will conclude this Tuesday,
April 15th. VBS dates
have been set! VBS will be held June 9th
through the 13th in the mornings. Start thinking of who you can invite for
this fun week. Registration will begin
in May. A list of areas where we need
help will be out in a few weeks.
Please pray where you can serve in this ministry. Also a list of things we need to borrow or
have donated will be created soon.
Please keep VBS in your prayers.

FAIR
will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd. Once again we are asking for your help in
accumulating bags of small individually wrapped candies for the games
that will be played. Please place your

Closing Program will be held Sunday, April 27th, at LOOKING AHEAD:
On Sunday, May 11th, we will honor our 2008 High School Graduates: Zane Brown, Bryce Eller, Issac Imsland, Caryn McCoskey, Heather Schwartz, Joelle Schwartz, Camerane Summers, and Eli Wiechmann . The parents of these graduates invite you
to join them for rolls, coffee, & juice during fellowship time that day. It’s time to
start thinking about Summer Camps. Registration due dates are approaching. Information is on the Mission Bulletin
Board table in the foyer and camp scholarships are available again this year
($100 per child). For more information

Our Country: Kristy (McCartney) Vogt,
Curtis Summers, Cory Hodnefield, Jonathan Bengtson, Jeff Murray, Andy Cooper Recovering
from surgery or other medical conditions: Bob Lind (Rick Gustafson’s
brother-in-law) - recovering from surgery last Monday to relieve pressure
around his heart. On IV antibiotics
for an infection they found. Emily Koesters (Tracey
Spainhower’s cousin’s daughter) -
Emily was
diagnosed last August
with treatable kidney disease called Nephrotic Minimal Change Syndrome. Emily has
an upcoming kidney transplant from her dad, however doctors
don’t know how long
until
this syndrome will attack her new kidney and she will need another
transplant.
In the meantime many medicines, peritoneal dialysis, and weekly blood
lab withdrawals
help to treat the multiple symptoms that affect Emily due to her loss
of kidney
function such as blood clots, high blood pressure, a low immune system
and low iron
counts,
among others. Dealing
with Cancer: Zak
Danger (a 6th grader at Will need more surgeries over
time on this leg as he grows. Kathy Johnston - prayer for
treatments & continued recovery. Kathy Portera - prayer for
continued recovery & healing. Royce Nichols - started chemo the first part of
March. Sue Gustafson (Boone) - her family is asking
prayer for God to work in her life that she would
come
to trust in Jesus through this trial in her life. Other
Concerns: Bob Fisher's
brother-in-law, Neil Richardson was killed in an automobile accident. His wife, Mevelyn (Nita's sister) was injured and is hospitalized. Roger
Seehusen (Marlys
Fisher’s brother) - in extent
of the cancer he has been fighting. Jenna ( Michael & Michelle Norby - will start their Youth work in June. Missionaries for April: Charlie & Kathy Johnston serving with the
Navigators in Guillermo and Joan (Yenger)
Gonzalez - At the end of May they will be moving to
PA where he will be teaching
physics and astronomy at The Crisis in the |
