Our Message

Our message is a timeless message and one that has met the most basic needs of human hearts through out history. It is a message of God and His love for His creation.

Originally, we were created by God to fellowship with Him and enjoy His presence. Unfortunately, we chose to rebel against God's loving and gracious rule. This plunged every human being into a hopeless and godless existence which led to an eternity separated from God in hell. In Rom. 3:23 it says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Though God is a loving God, He is also a just God. Sin must be punished. God said through the Apostle Paul, "the wages of sin is death." Sin exacts a penalty and that penalty is death. This is not just talking about physical death. It is also talking about spiritual death (separation from God for an eternity in hell). But, just as God is just He is also loving. His justice demands that our sin is punished, but His love provided someone to take that punishment for us in our place.

The Bible says, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." This means that Jesus died on the cross for you, paying for your sins. He paid the penalty of your sin in your place so you can have an eternal relationship with God. Our salvation, then, cannot be based on what we do for God to earn His favor, but on His unfailing and undeserved grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God--not of works, so that no one can boast." Eph. 2:8,9

This means that you can be brought into an eternal relationship with God by receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior. Your sins can be washed away and you can be restored to the kind of relationship with God that He had in mind for us when He created us and put us on this earth. The only thing that you can do is to place your trust and faith in Jesus Christ as the one who died on the Cross for your sins and came back from the dead. You must trust Christ alone, and God will give you eternal life as a gift. "For God so loved the world (that's you and me) that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever (including you) believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

If you've never received Christ, why not receive him right now? Though prayer doesn't save you, through prayer why not tell God you're receiving His Son as your Savior. Does this prayer describe the desire of your heart? Why not pray it today?

"Dear God, I know I'm a sinner. I know my sin deserves to be punished. I believe Christ died for my sins and rose from the grave. I trust Jesus Christ alone as my Savior. Thank You for the forgiveness of my sins and the new eternal relationship I have with you. In Jesus' name, Amen."
